This copy unique with the hand coloring. A grisly book. 4to, xi, [1], 112, [4]pp. Index. 24 fine engraved portraits, each within a border of skulls and bones, etc. This copy, unusually, has all the plates hand colored in a pinkish red (to resemble blood?). Original drab boards, rebacked with a heavy tan paper strip and 3 spine labels. Corners of boards worn and chipped. Clean internally and very good.
