Newell opposite title page vignette (TPV), minor damp-stain at upper edge (front end paper to title page), bi-fold map of "Rail routes to the city of Ottawa", including 13 tissue-guarded and tinted oval plates (7 by Newall, "View of the Locks" initialed WH (Winslow Homer), TPV and 5 unsigned attributed to WH), some foxing at end papers and tissue guards with clean strike plates and letter press, text toned.
