Introductory article on the growth of the skyscraper in modern architecture. The main theme of this issue is crystal and mineral shape studies, and contains much early macro-photography highlighting the sculptural quality of natural crystalline structures. A collaboration with geologist Prof. Berend George Escher who supplied many of the crystals and minerals from the Rijksmuseum van Geologie en Mineralogie in Leiden. Stab-sewn with original black ribbon. Spine quite rubbed and abraded. Slightly curled at edges, otherwise very good condition.
