Light general wear, worn through at board tips. Hinges undamaged. Text block firm and even. Pages are easily readable large text, minor foxing. Size: 8vo 7.75 - 9.75'' tall. Endpapers have pretty dotted pattern in green and pink. A frontispiece to vol 1. shows Cleopatra arriving at Tarsus, to vol. 2 , the wreck of The Perouse. The bindings are firm and neat, the texts are very clean and crisp, with only a very occasional light brown mark or passage lightly marked in pencil . No foxing.
