Inner hinges still solid, no name, no book-plate, no writing at all internally. Pages show mild toning at extremities but text is quite clean. A title in the Cuffy Bear series, this copy is in near very good condition.

Binding split at the front hinge with some tears to the endpapers around the wire staples, block a little loose in the covers. Ownership inscription to the 'This Book is My Own' section at the rear pastedown, and the same name is written in ink on the front cover of the dustjacket. A VG copy, scarce in it's jacket. A sequel to Helen Bannerman's hugely popular children's book 'The Story of Little Black Sambo', illustrated here by Clara Bell Thurston and Erne Vetch. Proliferating racial caricatures of the Jim Crow era, 'The Story of Little Black Sambo' and follow on texts such as this volume have gained notoriety for the racist stereotypes which characterise their illustrations. Hardcover Jan 01, 1929. Condición: Used: Very Good. 1929 hardcover in dust jacket, with no marks or writing in book. Jacket has some edgewear, a couple small chips, and light soil overall. Book itself is quite clean, but rear endpaper has some silverfish damage or flecking to the printed decoration. A very good copy of this hard-to-find title.
