Originally intended to mark the 200th anniversary of the firm of Allen and Hanburys, publication was delayed by the first world war and a decision was made to revise it and bring it up to date(as of 1927!). An interesting insight into the world of pharmaceutics and drugs in earlier days. Previous owners name and address to front free endpaper. some light foxing to first and last few pages. Overall VG.
