She notes in the letter t…hat she's enclosing the book, and she quotes a passage from its Introduction: "In 1989, Florida elected to Congress its first Hispanic Representative in 166 years, Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. She is the first Cuban-American and the first Hispanic woman to serve in the United States Congress.".
