Blue stiff paper covers, mild scuffing lengthwise along joints and at spine ends, some nicks and scuffing at cover edges with light wear and curling at corners. Light soiling to several initial and rear leaves which too have some curling at corners; top corner of page 105-106 creased from past fold-down. Laid-in is a clipping from the November 14, 1937 Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper showing a map indicating progress of the Mississippi paving program as of October 26, 1937. Interior pages remain quite clean. Binding is firm. A very good copy of an uncommon state publication of which OCLC only cites copies held by seven member libraries. Reviews the history of the Mississippi State Highway Department and documents the development of road construction throughout the state with innumerable b/w photographs, map illustrations, tables, etc.
