First edition of this uncommon catalogue touting the advantages of Sturtevant "Open-door" elevators for crushing, grinding, screening, elevating, conveying, and mixing operations, designed so that one man in one minute could open any door without the use of tools and immediately have access to all important parts. Fitted with big accessible discharge, fixed spillboard, split head, heavy gears and pinions, ample shafts, ball and socket self-aligning bearings, these were a tremendous innovation for cost saving.
