This is the first separate printing of Ehrlich's seminal work on the treatment of trypanosome diseases. Ehrlich's res…earch on chemo-therapeutic methods would lead to him developing his famous "magic bullet": the drug Salvarsan proved effective against syphilis and earned him the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1908. - Offprinted from the Berliner klinische Wochenschrift, 1907, No. 9-12. - A few edge flaws to wrappers, with a small ink stain; traces of a vertical crease.
