In the Korean War, he commeanded the 3d Battalion, 7th Marines and was awarded a Bronze Star with Combat V. He retired in 1962. This is one of a pamphlet history series devoted to the U.S. Marines in the World War II era and was published for the education and training of Marines as a part of the U.S. Department of Defense observance of the 50th anniversary of victory in WWII. Good. No dust jacket as issued. Cover has some wear and soiling.
