No creases or tears. There is some light foxing affecting the endpapers and the half-title page, but no foxing to the interior pages. Photographic plates clean and bright. ***In a very good black and white illustrated dustwrapper, which retains the original publisher's printed price of £35. The dustwrapper is complete, but there is some creasing at the edges - especially at the top edge. There is also a 2cm closed tear at the top edge of the back panel (reinforced with clear tape on the reverse). No other tears and no chips. The dustwrapper is slightly foxed on the inside surface, and on the foldover flaps. No fading.
