The boards show large (to 5cm) splits to the spine edges, scuffed spine head and tail with abrasion and loss of surface to the tail, sunned spine, bumped edges and corners, a little loss of material from corners, creasing and marking to the faces. Pencil inscriptions to front end paper and half-title page. Partially cracked front hinge. The binding is still holding firm, the leaves secure. Most pages are clean, but many show ink marks and other staining (e.g. photo 4) and there is the odd annotation. Moderate tanning to text block edges. Measures 17.0 x 11.9 x 1.8cm. 48 page introduction, 90 page play, 122 pages of notes, 6 page index.
