Small decorative leather book, light brown leather boards with blind stamped decoration matching to the front and back, some rubbing to extremities, a little cracking towards the bottom of the front hinge, all edge gilt, generally very good, single neat handwritten word to front endpaper 'Manchester,' black and white tissue protected portrait frontispiece, small black and white decorations to chapter headings etc. From a series of similar small books 'The Bibelots.' A dinky little book containing Hazlitt's Wit and Humour and other essays. A rather nice addition to any collection of antique small books and especially suitable for anyone interested in humour and literature. ; 32mo 4" - 5" tall; xv 154 pages.
