Previous owner's book plate inside front cover with pencilled remarks indicating it is the bookplate of Herbert Salisbury Squance (1867-1922), designed by noted bookplate artist Harry Soane (1844 - 1927). No 2 of the Isham Reprints edition. No. 38 of a limited edition of 130 copies printed for subscribers only and numbered and signed by Charles Edmonds opposite main title page. XLV pahge introduction by Edmonds, followed by an unpaginated reproduction of Hakes's 1579 edition, from the Isham collection. A very scarce limited edition. Signed by Editor.
