'This catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibition " Contemporary Japanese Art in America (I): Arita, Nakagawa, Sugimoto" held at Japan Society Gallery from May 12 through June 28, 1987.' Included with the book is a letter from the Japan Society with regard to a Panel Discussion and Lecture. You can see the white covers in the photos provided. They are pretty clean. There are a few light spots and there's a little bit of light print run-off on the front cover. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout. There are no binding issues. The pages are in exceptional condition. They appear to be perfectly clean and bright. I'm not seeing any creasing. There are no markings. There are no attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. There are a great many illustrations, both in color and black-and-white. They too are in excellent condition.
