He has written two previous books of essays, Spirit and Toward the Mystery. the subjects of these essays include God, the Bible, religion, women, contemporary issues and others. It is a little rustic cabin that goes back to the turn of the century. We call it Maka Wakan, which is the Oglala Sioux name for 'the Sacred Earth. The magical spring morning I decided to round up old, rusty scrap iron from our land, some buried deep in dried grass, and create a Tai Chi disk for the front of our cabin.
