The pages have light finger printing with a slight bit of soiling. 12 full color, full page illustrations show Polly, Peter and Spot in the first half of the book and Maggie, Tubby the dog and Billy in the second half.

Would originally have been published at 9d in about 1948-54. *The artist has signed himself "Ern Shaw" but the artist was known as "Harold Earnshaw more famously as illustrator in many magazines and comics.

Ilustrador. 1st Edition. 16 page very thin card colour cover illustrated "painting book" with colour illustrations for children to copy by "Ern Shaw" or known earlier in his career as Harold Ernshaw. One illustration of a turbaned magician has had the central turban feather coloured neatly, hardly noticed the rest of the booklet has not been touched, small closed split started at top middle and affects covers and contents, but closed and nothing lost. This on soft card covers and similar pages, these a little lightly creased/handled but all bright and clean. Square slim quarto. Not dated but c1950. Very Good.
