Not found in OCLC. Unused advertising paper doll from the upscale Scarbrough & Sons (1893-2009) clothing store once located in the historic landmark building in Austin, Texas. The clothing seen advertised in the brochure is in the style of post-WWII but before the style changes of the 1950s. Scarbrough's was unusual in that it price tagged its clothing in the early part of the 20th century, during a time when bartering and bargaining for goods was the norm. The prices seen on the clothing in these advertisements appear to be high compared to the pricing seen in catalog clothing.
