Written by many eminent Jewish scholars and in the last issues almost entirely by the editor Osias Heschel Schorr, the periodical offered a scientific and cri…tical approach to Jewish texts, history and tradition. The largest article in this volume deals with Persian influences on Jewish culture. 205x125mm. 177 pages. Black quarter-leather Hardcover. Cover worn and bumped. Cover edges and corners bumped and worn. Cover and spine punctured at several places. Stickers on spine. Pen inscription and stamp on endpapers, whitepages, content and title pages. Ink writing on front inner cover and whitepage. Title page edges tattered. Ink, pen and pencil inscriptions on title page. Page 3 bottom corner missing - no damage to text. Several last page edges slightly worn. Several small wormholes on whitepages. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: Despite the aforementioned external wear, this rare book is internally in good condition.
