Laëtitia Azar du Marest, peintre et écrivain, née à Marseille, vint à Paris en 1892, pour y étudier le dessin sous la direction de Jean-Paul Laurens et Eugène Carrière. Elle se fit rapidement connaître comme peintre par des envois au Salons de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Art et des ouvrages sur l'art au Panthéon et sur Eugène Carrière. Ces souvenirs nous informent sur la vie à l'atelier d'Eugène Carrière du boulevard de Clichy aux alentours des années 1892-1900.…
