The text has been well-preserved. The International Agrarian Institute was a research institute and publishing house formed in Moscow in 1926 by the Peasant International, or Krestintern. According to an ad in the rear, this journal is focused on agricultural economy, and the "situation of agriculture and the peasantry" in other countries; this issue is more focused on the latter. (Interestingly, the journal would also be published in German.) The only editor we could find much about is Nikolai Leonidovich Meshcheryakov, who was a member of the Presidium of the Krestintern, an editor of several Soviet publications, and reportedly the head of Glavlit for at least part of the 1920s. According to *OCLC*, the journal was published monthly or bimonthly from 1927 until 1934 or 1935. An uncommon Soviet agricultural journal first published on the eve of Collectivization.
