Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This 20th-century book explores the nature of existence from a spiritual perspective, positing that we are triune beings, encompassing body, soul, and spirit. Existing within three planes simultaneously (physical, psychical, and spiritual), we are influenced by God, angels, and the departed, all of whom have a role to play in our present and future lives. The author argues that spirit germs exist in the ether, and when inhaled by humans during conception, combine with male and female physical and psychical elements to create a new being. Through reincarnation, we continue to evolve spiritually, and the soul can reach salvation through Christ, while the body returns to dust. The spirit world is said to be a mirror of our own, filled with familiar forms and sensations. The author presents case histories of mediums and their communications with the spirit world, and discusses the role of psychic phenomena in guiding and teaching us. Ultimately, the book imparts that our ultimate goal is to move beyond the physical and psychical planes and achieve union with the divine.
