Not dated - circa mid to late 1830s. Edition and printing ot known. In fairly good brown leather boards, with blind stamped ruled, decorative edges and gilt design to front, and to back strip with gilt titles. The covers are straight and tight, marked on front, sides of spine and fore edge worn. Quite clean pale yellow end papers; edges of the paste downs are stained brown from leather covers. Clean gilt cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, square and only very lightly tanned, mostly around edges of prelims and pages at end of text block.Very good condition and excellent for age.With 17 engravings from drawings by A.G. Vickers with tissue guards. The tail edge of frontispiece has feint water/damp mark. No inscriptions etc. Overall good condition.
