Exterior black cloth is spotless. Silver lettering on the spine is clean and bright. No bumped corners or rubbing to edges. One tiny nick to the bottom edge of the back cover. The dust jacket is only very lightly soiled but has extensive whitish rubbing. There is also a 4" tear in the spine of the jacket. There are many small chips and tears along top and bottom edges, the deepest of which is about 1". Book and dust jacket will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.

This hardcover copy of The Biology of the Orchids is in Very Good condition. The spine is strong and the pages are clean and bright. There are no tears. There is a name and address stamp on the first page and a scribble from a toddler on the last page. There is no dust jacket. Please see the photos. The previous owner took excellent care of his hundreds of books and magazines on orchids. I bought as many as I could. Please check back as it will take a while to list them all.
