Some toning and small stains to text block edges. Endpapers foxed and toned. Two-line blue-ink inscription "Best Regards, | Bobby Dodd" at top of front free endpaper followed by five-line ink inscription dated 11-2-54 but with the inscriber's name illegible; likewise another three-line ink inscription from same individual dated 10/27/54 on page 23 (presumably this is someone affiliated with the Georgia Tech program but various name permutations do not match a player although a search for a list of assistant coaches was successful); additional unfortunate ink markings amongst rear text.
