Édition originale (il existe une seconde édition à la date de 1721 et à l'adresse de Lyon). Bien que, dans l'espace francophone, ce titre soit mis sous le nom du père François Dobeilh (1634-1716), qui n'en est que le traducteur et adaptateur, l'originale espagnole forme une partie des Dictamenes de espiritu (1642 et maintes autres éditions en castillan) du père Juan Eusebio Nieremberg y Otin (1595-1658), de la même Compagnie. Ce dernier auteur spirituel fut d'une prolixité rare (cf. les nombreuses pages du Palau consacrées à l'ensemble de ses titres), et la tendance des jésuites français fut plus de présenter des extraits choisis que des versions complètes ; c'est ce que nous avons ici avec ce petit recueil de conseils et maximes politiques tous très brefs.Willems, 1455.
