Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. Fifth printing. Inscribed to previous owner and signed by Bobby Orr on the front endpage, thus NOT an autopen signature as appears to commonly be the case with "signed" copies of this title. Good in a Good dust jacket. Blue cloth boards with wear at corners and spine-ends. Previous owner name on front pastedown -- entirely covered by jacket flap. Binding is sound. Jacket has numerous small scuffs, plus edge-wear -- especially at top edge of rear panel. Lengthy vertical crease on front flap, which does retain publisher's price in upper corner. 176 pages. In Season One of "Cheers," character Ed Kellner unfairly maligned Bobby Orr in a failed attempt to ruffle Carla Maria Victoria Angelina Teresa Apollonia Lozupone Tortelli LeBec, played by the flawless Rhea Perlman.

Añadir al carritoDust Jacket Included. First Edition. Bound in finely woven dark blue cloth and stamped boldly in silver ink along the spine. Clean and tight throughout. With a 1" gnawed section at the bottom edge of the rear board. This copy has been inscribed: "To Niki from Bobby Orr." This is clearly not one of the autopenned copies of "Orr on Ice" that one frequently encounters. In a worn, good only dust jacket with the original price of $6.95 at the top of the inside front flap. With a 4" taped tear along the bottom edge of the front fold; and a 2" closed tear at the bottom of the rear panel. Laid in is an 8" x 10" color photograph on heavy stock with a faint vertical crease along the left edge, probably from a promotional brochure or magazine. It is a photo of Orr in action with stick and puck while an opponent tackles him. It is inscribed: "To Patrick Best of Luck Bobby Orr." A delightful pair of Orr inscriptions for the hocky aficionado. Robert Gordon "Bobby" Orr, OC (born March 20, 1948) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Orr played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for ten seasons with the Boston Bruins, joining the Chicago Black Hawks for two more. Orr is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest hockey players of all time. As a defenseman, Orr revolutionized how the game was played. He used his ice skating speed and scoring and play-making abilities to revolutionize the position.[3] As of 2013, Orr remains the only defenseman to have won the league scoring title with two Art Ross Trophies and holds the record for most points and assists in a single season by a defenseman. Orr won a record eight consecutive Norris Trophies as the NHL's best defenseman and three consecutive Hart Trophies as the league's most valuable player (MVP). Orr was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979 at age 31. He was the youngest to be inducted into the Hall at that time. After his hockey career Bobby Orr became a well known scout for many professional teams. He also spends most of his time talking to and mentoring young exuberant skaters. (Wikipedia).
