Um infolge der ungleichen Ränder ein späteres zu starkes Beschneiden mit der Maschine zu vermeiden, werden die Bogen einzeln, vorne und unten, mit der Pappschere auf ein Mittelmaß rauh beschnitten. Dadurch wird der Druckrand weitestgehend geschont.
