All relate to BRGM's operations for the Saudi Government in Jabal Sayid, located 320km north-east of Jeddah in the western part of the Precambrian Arabian Shield on the Najd Plateau. Since identifying the site or Prospect in 1965, BRGM did topographic and geological mapping at various scales (1965-70), drilling (1967-70), analyses at BRGM's lab in Jeddah with further studies in Orleans, an airborne geophysical survey (1968), ore reserve calculations, and two groundwater exploration programmes (1968-70) (Summary Review). The Completion Reports included here present findings from 5 holes drilled through the Main Gossan (the weathered rock at the exposed top of a mineral deposit) with respect to copper, zinc, gold and silver, cross-referencing findings from other Drill-Holes where relevant.
