Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This is a US first edition, second impression paperback printing of this title published by Prestige 'Easy Eye' Books in 1972 as a Magnum Gothic Original AND HAND SIGNED BY DEAN KOONTZ DIRECT TO THE TITLE PAGE WITH AN EARLY SIGNATURE AND INSCRIPTION. For clarity: it's the first edition of the Magnum printing, but a second edition overall because Lancer published the paperback original previously. So their claim to be "Never before published" is inaccurate. The book has a straight spine, firm spine ends and sharp corners. The white covers on the spine and back panel are off-white due to age. Inside is a store stamp. Becoming increasingly scare, signed copies are uncommon - especially in this condition. Signed by Author(s).

Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. This is a US paperback original printing of this title, published by Lancer in 1971 AND SIGNED, INSCRIBED & DATED BY DEAN KOONTZ ON 12.23.04 AS FOLLOWS: "TO PAUL - WELL IT BOUGHT FOOD FOR A WHILE!" The book is in Very Good condition with tight binding, straight but slightly rolled spine, and firm spine ends. The covers are bright with feint wear and sunned to the rear cover. The interior text is clean aside from toning to the page edges and a neat store stamp to the front end paper. The copyright page confirms the first publication and the rear cover also states the book is a Lancer Gothic Original - never before published. Uncommon signed. Signed by Author(s).

Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Near Fine. 1st Edition. DEANNA DWYER (DEAN KOONTZ penname) - DEMON CHILD, copyright 1971, published by Lancer, True First Printing (no references to subsequent printings on copyright page - the second printing has a blue background on the cover with the title centered and states as such on the copyright page). NOTE - THIS BOOK WAS REPRINTED ONLY ONCE BUT THEN NEVER REPUBLISHED OR REISSUED BY KOONTZ, WHO LATER BOUGHT UP ALL OF THE RIGHTS TO HIS EARLY PB WORK TO PREVENT REPRINTING. SECOND NOTE - IMPORTANT BOOK FOR THOSE WHO COLLECT DEAN'S "ADULT" BOOKS WHICH HE NOW DENIES WRITING - THE DEDICATION ON THE COPYRIGHT PAGE READS: "DEDICATION: TO ANN, GRACIE, DAN, LEONARD, ELY, AND K.R." WHICH ARE REFERENCES TO THE FIRST NAMES OF SEVERAL OF KOONTZ'S PENNAMES (INCLUDING 2 PENNAMES ANN GRIFFIN AND GRACIE AMBER) THAT HE USED ON HIS 1970 CAMEO "ADULT" NOVELS. Book has faint vertical spine creasing, no creased page corners, ALMOST NO AGE YELLOWING TO SPINE/RIGHT EDGE ON REAR PANEL (common defect with this book for some reason), almost no wear to spine tips, no cover creases, no edge wear, no soiling or staining, no cover rubbing (another common problem with this book), no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamp inside (common defect - these romance books are nearly always found with used bookstore stamping), pages just starting to age yellow at edges (as is often found with this book), pages are tight and flat. Overall a FINE- book of a rare Dean Koontz first printing book. I have a number of other U.S. and U.K. Dean Koontz 1st printing hardcover/paperback/magazine appearances up for sale.

Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 1st Edition. This is a US paperback original printing of this title, published by Lancer in 1971 AND SIGNED, INSCRIBED & DATED BY DEAN KOONTZ ON 12.23.04 AS FOLLOWS: "TO PAUL - DO ME A FAVOR AND BURN THIS BOOK!" The book is in Very Good condition with tight binding, straight spine, and firm spine ends. The covers are bright with feint wear and sunned to the rear cover. The interior text is clean. The copyright page confirms the first publication and the rear cover also states the book is a Lancer Gothic Original - never before published. It needs noted this book WAS reprinted - once - but this is the true first printing, with green cover and title to the right side of the front cover, which are "tell" points for the first edition of this title. A very rare paperback anyway, whilst I am sure there will be other signed copies buried in private collections, this is only the second time I have seen one advertised online and this is my own personal copy which has similarly been buried in my collection since 2004. Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. *VERY SCARCE* TRUE FIRST EDITION of Dance with the Devil (by Lancer Books NOT the Magnum reprint which looks nearly identical!) On Dean Koontz's website he clearly lists "Lancer" as the original publisher of this title. CONDITION REPORT This is a Good+ to Very Good collectible copy of this VERY SCARCE TRUE first edition. The binding is strong with some slight spine lean, there is vertical creasing on and near the spine as well as in several other locations, including the bottom right corner. There is only light rubbing (usually found heavily rubbed) and some light soiling, toning and chipping. The pages are clean, crisp, unripped and free of markings. The interior pages show very light signs of spotting. NOTE: There was never a hardcover edition of this book by Koontz under his pseudonym Deanna Dwyer, which he used when writing five gothic romance novels in the 1970s.
