Original eight paneled fold out game day program, 10 by 7. This example signed in pencil by Hall of Fame baseball player, Dizzy Dean, in what was effectively his final season with the Cubs. The year before, Dean has been instrumental in the Cubs win over the Pirates for the pennant. Also signed by Buck Marrow of the Brewers. Scarce. Very Good.

This renowned pitcher (1930-41) won 30 games in 1934 with St. Louis (a feat accomplished since only by Denny McLain in 1968); he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. Bold signature in blue ballpoint, lined 5" X 3" card, n.p., n.d. Near fine. Tiny mounting trace on verso. A handsome later life example of this uncommon signature. Accompanied by two small, pristine modern reproductions (Dover Reprints) of vintage Dean color baseball cards, both on glossy heavy stock: a 2½" X 3" reprint of a 1934 "Big League Chewing Gum" card and a 2" X 2¼" reprint of a cryptic early card.
