Henry William Gordon Kenrick, one of the largest individual collectors of British plants to be represented in the Hull University Herbarium, with 676 specimens covering the period 1889 to 1939. He also made a collection of plants from the Nilgiris in 1886-7, which is now held in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. An engaging work on the mountains and mountaineering routes of the Dolomites by L.
