As well as being a fine actor (I particularly remember him for "A Kid for Two Farthings") Kossoff was a great storyteller - especially when you could hear that lovely calming voice of his. Nice black and white drawings here by the English illustrator and cartoonist, Ionicus (Joshua Armitage), best known for his contributions to Punch and for the covers of so many of the Penguin P.G. Wodehouse titles. Signed by Kossoff on the illustrated half-title, and in remarkably fine condition in a fine dust jacket that might just show a hint of fading to the bright yellow spine.
