The interior is creamy-bright and completely free of any marks except an unobtrusive signature in ink on the front pastedown, with date. The original unclipped ($3.50) dust jacket, with a portrait of the author on the rear panel, has one smallish tear on the front panel and several small chips at the extremities---not affecting text or portrait.
