Sheet Music. Condición: Good. Fred Fisher Inc., Published 1921. Sheet music, 6 pp.; 31 cm; pictorial cover by Starmer, a portrait of a dark-haired young woman framed by stylized red roses with a moonlit lakeside vignette. In Good condition. Illustrated paper covers with several edge nicks and short tears of one inch or less and creasing along edges; cover seam reinforced with green cloth tape. Three previous owners' names in pencil and ink on the front cover. Toning, spotting, and soiling to covers and pages. Interior music pages otherwise unmarked. The cover is the work of Starmer, the professional name shared by brothers William and Frederick Starmer, among the most prolific and collected of American sheet music cover artists, who at their height produced a large share of the large-format song covers of the period; the signature appears at the lower right of the vignette. The song is credited to the otherwise obscure Dorothy Darwin (lyric) and Dale Sparkfair (music), and is a genuinely scarce Tin Pan Alley sheet. Back cover carries a full-page Fred Fisher "Big Song Hits" advertisement with cover thumbnails and three-bar samples of eight other Fisher songs, among them Ma!, In My Tippy Canoe (from the Ziegfeld Follies), Wimmin, Bundle of Joy, and Glow Little Lantern of Love.…
