Añadir al carritoCondición: Near Fine. First Edition. 8 1/2 X 11 Inches. An amazing original advertising flyer for the first video game produced by the founders of ATARI, Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. Computer Space was a space combat game and was famously the first coin-operated arcade video machine ever produced. The game was developed in 1971 and was originally produced by Nutting Associates, via an agreement Bushnell and Dabney made with the company. The launch of this game represented the end of the early history of video games and the beginning of the modern commecial video game industry. During the production of Computer Space, Bushnell and Dabney worked under the umbrella of their newly fomed Syzygy Engineering, which would become ATARI soon after the release of this game. Interestingly, this particular flyer bears the distibution stamp of "Portale Automatic Sales" in the lower "Distributed By" box. Bob Portale was an early champion of the video game industry and was the largest distributor of Computer Space during the pivotal first two years. Original fold marks. "Portale Automatic Sales" stamp as described. A sharp example of a truly important piece of video game history.
