Biographies of 70 servicemen are provided. Each has a local street named after them. James Brown felt that a book should be written, and with the help of ex-servicewoman Patricia Riggs, the book was completed. The two surviving Victoria Cross winners of the War were involved with the book: the foreword has been written by Sir Roden Cutler, and the book was launched by Edward Kenna VC, on 1st, April, 1995. (A part of the 'Australia Remembers 50th Anniversary Celebrations', 1945 - 1995. No ISBN in book. Autographs, by Jim Brown on title page, and Edward Kenna VC inside front cover.).
