Interesting that Bukowski was inadvertently omitted from the list of contributors. First appearance of his poem "12,000 Dollars in 3 Months." This copy came from the library of JOHN BEECHER (1904-80), noted social protest poet and fine press publisher. His artist wife, Barbara (1925-2016), inks "Marked Copy see Pg. 15" in red on the front wrapper, and on aforementioned page (in editor Cuscaden's article "A Prodigious Cornucopia: Poetry From The Small Presses") she also marks in red a paragraph favorably reviewing her and her husband's press: "Few presses, anywhere, are producing as fine a job of printing as John Beecher and his wife Barbara are turning out at Rampart Press. not only beautifully printed, but also contain some excellent poetry."
