He was held in high esteem; an early local history described him as "a genius of a teacher." Presumably compiled for use in elementary civics classes, this book includes "A Brief History of the Constitution," the text of the U.S. Constitution, interleaved with blanks for note-taking, and the Vermont state constitution.
