Due volumi di cm. 25, pp. xii, 668; 647. Con 36 tavole incise fuori testo finemente colorate e gommate. Legatura coeva in mezza pelle, dorsi lisci con titoli e filetti in oro. Piatti e sguardie marmorizzati. Qualche minima spellatura ai dorsi, peraltro bell'esemplare, fresco e ben conservato. Opera scientificamente ben documentata ed iconograficamente molto valida soprattutto per la parte che riguarda la caccia alle balene. Si tratta infatti di uno dei pochissimi testi che offra una vivace testimonianza su quest'argomento. Le tavole sono animate, oltre che dagli animali raffigurati, da un pittorico contorno spesso riproducente scene di caccia, pesca, ecc.
