Dissertation von dem bekannten Schweizer Arzt und Medizinhistoriker Konrad Meyer-Ahrens (1813-1872).… Er wurde in Zürich geboren, studierte nach 3jahr. Curus am dortigen med.-chir. Institut von 1833 an in Berlin, besonders unter Johannes Müller, und promovierte daselbst 1835. 1835 kehrte er in seine Vaterstadt zürck, widmtete sich anfänglich der Praxis, wandte sich jedoch bald mehr literarischen Arbeiten zu. Die letzteren teilen sich in zwei Phasen, die historisch-medizinischen, vom Jahre 1837 an, und die viel späteren balneographischen. -cdf. Hirsch, p.223.
