Zenimoto was the energetic Chairman of the Yakumo Kai [Hearn Society] of Matsue, a life-long Hearn scholar, Shimane University professor & Hearn bibliographer. . He was the major organizer of the CENTENNIAL FESTIVAL OF LAFCADIO HEARN'S 100TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATING HIS ARRIVAL TO JAPAN, held in Matsue August-September 1990. . Zenimoto invited Stanoff to exhibit rare Hearn manuscripts & book at the Centennial. At that time, Zenimoto presented Stanoff with this copy, expressing his gratitude for the support, contributions and collaboration by Stanoff. .
