Text has very light marking in pencil with only marked pages found. For its age the text is still in good condition. Frontispiece of Shakespeare has moderate foxing. includes "a history of the stage, a life of the poet, and an introduction to each play: the text of the plays corrected by the manuscript emendations contained in the recently discovered folio of 1632.
