Linen textured paper prelims. With six tipped-in black and white maps, diagrams and architectural plans, four tipped-in black and white photographic plates, and a black and white portrait of the Right Revd. Henry William Majendie, D.D., Lord Bishop of Bangor, tipped in facing page 44. Housed in a brown cloth slipcase. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The closed text block is lightly toned to the top and bottom edges and has a small spot to the fore-edge. The contents, have a small inscription covered with whiteout to the top-right corner of the title page, light offsetting to the prelims and the occasional foxing spot throughout. In the fine, structurally sound slipcase. An attractive example of a craft binding.
