Colijn, Prime Minister of The Netherlands writes a very warmly written 4 page letter on his personal stationery to Miss Marjorie Whyte, daughter of Mr. Robert Whyte Jr. (a famous singer, cellist and agent in his time) and his wife and also a world renowned cellist Margaret Whyte. The Doctor in this letter makes reference to a mountain climb his son is just about to undertake and for which the boy becomes famous after publishing the account of his adventure. The 7.5 x 5.75 inch letter has some yellowing on the front page but otherwise clean. Previously fold there are some words legible but caught in the crease of the fold. Overall G. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Manuscript.
