Toning to edges with past owner's name handwritten in ink on all three text block edges but most obtrusively upon fore-edge in black marker. Same owner's extensive notation regarding family relation mentioned in book all handwritten in green ink on front pastedown; front endpapers toned from laid-in newspaper clipping with impression from removed tape strip; owner's pencil inscription on front free endpaper; occasional ink and pencil check marks at fore-edge margins with marginalia found upon a quick perusal on pages 82, 100, 103, and 111; some soiling to rear endpapers. Binding shaken between rear flyleaf and rear free endpaper where foldout map is tipped-in; binding otherwise still firm. Else a good copy.
