Vintage studio still photograph featuring Teresa Graves and Peter Bayliss from the 1974 British film. Dracula, portrayed by the typically charming Niven, attempts to revive his great love, the Countess Vampira, by collecting blood from Playboy models touring his castle, but when Vampira awakens, she is now a powerful Black woman…, in a delightful performance from Graves. The US release changed the film's name to "Old Dracula," in an attempt to cash on the success of Mel Brook's 1974 blockbuster "Young Frankenstein," and were frequently shown as a double bill. From the collection of artist and author Duncan Hannah. Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, L…ou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Woody Allen's film debut as both actor and screenwriter, about a soon-to-be-married womanizer as he attempts to adjust to a monogamous life, with help from his neurotic psychoanalyst. Revised and Final Shooting script for the 1958 film, copy belonging to Production Designer George Provis. Laid in are over 30 pages of notes, shooting schedules, and call sheets, including four pages of original pencil storyboards, as well as several clippings of handwritten notes, all in Provis' hand, as well as seven letters w…ritten to Provis, most typed letters signed from Production Manager "Freddie" Pearson, all dating from 1957. George Provis was a British Art Director and Production Designer who began his career working on quota quickies (low budget features made to comply with Britain's Cinematograph Films Act of 1927) in the 1930s. After the Second World War, Provis was appointed by British film producer Sydney Box to head the art department at Gainsborough Pictures, and is credited on over 120 films. Based on the 1940 novel by Phyllis Bottome. Set in Austria during WWII, a young Austrian boy is forced to sell the family dog to pay for food, rather than have his abusive father, played by Donald Pleasence, sell the dog to the butcher. Shot on location in Innsbruck, Austria. Tall titled orange wrappers, noted as Shooting Script on the front wrapper, dated 26.9.57. Title page present, dated September 12th, 1957, noted as Revised and Final Shooting Script. 61 leaves, with last page of text numbered 64. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. After studying with Saul Bass at the Kann Institute of Art i…n Los Angeles, photographer Robert Willoughby began working for magazines such as "Life," "Look," and "Harper's Bazaar" in the late 1940s. He spent the next 20-plus years as a set photographer for every major studio and magazine, with his images seen in print literally every week of his career. Willoughby's photographs are in the permanent collections of ten museums, including The National Portrait Galleries in Washington, DC and London, the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, The Museum of Modern Art, and The Tate Modern. 13 x 19.25 inches, mounted on board.
