A number of sonnets in the present volume are dedicated to Vicomtesse de Noailles, Parker Tyler, Djuna Barna and Pavel Tchelitchew. Tchelitchew was Ford's long-term partner and the artist of the detailed frontispiece to the poems.** Nameplate on front pastedown reads "David Enderton Johnson."** First edition, first impression.
