Both are first editions. His very first photograph was published in 1911, a balloon landing in South London, and in time this would encourage Charles E Brown to become a very successful and highly talented aviation photographer. Dustwrappers both have edge wear to their top edges in places, volume 1 also having small splits at the top corners and to rear spine seam at the head. Otherwise these are clean and sound copies in overall VG condition.
